i usually hate cooking after coming home from a long day of work, but since the recipe said it was a 30-min meal, i thought i'd give it a try. this way, i won't starve tomorrow night. it's also my way of "testing" the accuracy of the recipe - does it really take the claimed amount of time?
i began preparing the ingredients at 7:15pm, setting aside the items that need chopping, and boiling water for the spaghetti, etc, and as i followed the recipe step by step, i kept an eye on the time. 7:34pm - ok time to cook the spaghetti for 9-10 mins while the sauce is simmering...and by 7:47pm i was on the couch with a bowl of piping hot tomato-garlic ragu with spaghetti, with a sprinkle of parmesan on top!
...and dinner is served!
the flavors were so rich, yet the whole process felt effortless. meal #2 was again a success from hellofresh, and i really can't wait to cook my next one! this recipe is a keeper.
