i've really been trying to plan fun activities for D and i, and so this past weekend, we went to explore wave hill in the bronx. there was a
special night event featuring an installation by chris doyle for the aquatic gardens, and we caught it on its last night.
the grounds were gorgeous! overlooking the hudson river and the palisades, and we caught the sunset as well. we roamed around a bit, and had a couple beers at the cafe.

the installation itself was interesting. i don't pretend to understand art, but i did enjoy artistic structures and how the different colors and mirrored surfaces reflect off the pool. the aquatic garden was very serene, but of course, as the night went on, there were more and more people surrounding and crowding the place up.

we didn't stay until the end of the night, since it got a bit cold, and the crowd was overwhelming. but wave hill is definitely a place to visit again.
